Description
"I once owned a diary that I wrote every regret in...."A sneak peek from my book burning photoshoot
more to come.
NOTE: Yes, I get it.. I am burning a book! I apologies to all the book lovers but please stop commenting about how you feel sorry for the book. I only burned a book once and it was only for this concept. I do not plan to do it again. It was not a blank book, it was a book about politics and the book was given to the model to help with her art project.
I am a book lover myself, but was needed for this concept.
Also, playing with fire is dangerous. If you ever want to try something like this be super careful and make sure you do this outdoors unless if you are super experienced.
Thank you for your support everyone!

Would I be able to get permission to use this as a background for a quote? It would likely be used to support my poetry novel. I don't want to use your comment board to advertise, so if you think it would be ok, please contact me and we can discuss usage and rights. I'm asking one time use rights with copyright reference to you. Many thanks!

amazing work.
In a perfect world, you'd make a whole book like this.

That opening line: "I once owned a diary that I wrote every regret in...."
Can I turn that into a song? It's perfect.

Thanks much! If I ever finish it (which is unlikely. I'm waaay too perfectionistic), I'll share it with you!

This is hypnotizing, seriously excellent work! If I may offer some honest criticism, I think this would've been much more powerful if the focus was on the model's eyes, but nonetheless this is stunning! Well done!!!!

I like how her face is illuminated behind the dark flames. A conceptual work in the true sense.

Magnificent concept exquisitely executed.
And so what if it is a book? Big deal. Most end up in landfills. It is not like she is burning the Book of Kells.

Wonderful image. A resolute stare through the flames.
Nice warning as well for people who may be so inspired that they run out and set fire to their own heads. =
Have you read 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury?
If you didn't know, it is called that because 451 deg. F is the temperature that paper catches fire without the aid of a naked flame.
Great stuff, your stuff. Great stuff.
