NOTE: BLACK BALLS ARE REAL. I bought white balls from the dollerstore and painted them black.
The black balls represent a dark soul or a depressed soul. And the emptiness/ blackness seems to fall upon anything and suck you in with it's dark smoke...

I LOVE THIS! my interpretation would be that what's inside of her, her negative feelings are killing her, putrefying her because they can't get out and now they are bursting through her innocence/purity (white dress).
Sorry for my english, i hope i explained myself. I also really like the shot, everything has the right color, everything belongs there. I thought the balls were photoshopped, can't believe they're real!

Beautifully done. I love that the balls are real, too. Some people might take the lazy way out and photo-manipulate them into the photo, but your attempt is best, in my opinion.

Yeah I went to the doller store and found some white styrofoam spheres. they were white at first and I just painted them black. Then I hung them to the branches with some silver wire (which was very thin and hard to see from a distance). It took an hour and my poor toes froze but it worked out great (=
