Oh god. SO PROUD OF THIS PICTURE. And yes, INCOMING HUGE ASS DESCRIPTION. you don't really have to read the whole description if you don't want too...its pretty much a huge explanation of her character.

Anyway, this is Ravenwing. My "deluded" Decepticon who i've had for...quite sometime. A lot of the following backstory is pretty much the same as her non-movieverse form. FINALLY did a decent picture of her as a "Bay"former. Thank you "Reign of Starscream"! Thats an awesome book, by the by. Its probably the only one out of most of the movie-verse comics with good reference of the femme-bots. Arcee and Elita-1, to be exact. I love how alien they look...so I guess thats why it wasn't so hard to draw her considering how monstery she came out. She has a sort of elegance and grace which I wanted to portray, but because of what she is...well-to humans she'd look like a vicious monster but to her own kind she's quite an alluring sight. She looks like she could rip your face off and rearrange it...but in all actuallity, despite being particuarly dangerous-she is really more or less NOT an evil "being"...but follows the Decepticon cause, besides herself. I find it more dramatic to have characters that kinda defeat the mold. All though her twin sister, Blackspiral, is a BEAST and makes up for Ravenwing's honorable(Honorable Decepticon? Wha? Her response would be along the lines of "Not all Decepticons are created equal...") mindset. Blackspiral also likes to pick at her because she is quite frankly, very intelligent...and well, BS is more brawn then smarts.

At one time she believed in the cause wholeheartedly(as any good follower should-and well, Blackspiral helped with getting her involved in the first place)...but now, after all the years its worn down her resolve and she isn't sure anymore but she can't really see anything else. I guess she is somewhat like Thundercracker (G1) in that effect, but only slightly.

Despite her prime objective, of course given to all Decepticons (destroying Autobots and taking over the universe-ya know..."As you wish...Lord Megatron..."), her secondary objective is a little under the table. Protection of her "little brother", Bleakstar. I need to design him too...urgh. Actually not related, she took him in after a rather devasting battle and they've been together ever since. She is very protective of him, and tries desperately to keep him out of harms way...which is a lot of the time considering her line of "work". Like any good "kid", he really wants to be a Decepticon like her...but she isn't too fond of the idea. Of course, she doesn't say this outloud...but more or less tries to avoid the subject when it is brought up.

Besides Bleakstar, Ravenwing also tends to stick around Coronawind-I got a picture of her somewhere in the annals of my gallery-G1esque. Maybe I should design her too...anywho-She's a loud mouth, quite obnoxious character but is probably one of the only other bots that Ravenwing can confide in. Corona's side work includes some rather "kinky" things...besides the usual "ZOMGDESTROYAUTOBOTS". All though she'd be hard pressed to turn down anyone if she knew she wouldn't be caught. *caff*

Her battle style is mostly close combat melee(Assasin)...and dancing. The dancing thing is from her original version...which is why I wanted to make her look more lithe and elegant. She is very fast and incredibly agile on the ground and in the air. She incorporates her Cybertronian "dance" moves in with her fighting, moving her armored plating in such a way that it looks like liquid metal, I only imagine that liquid metal is quite an inticing thing to fellow biomechanical organisms...eh heh heh. At this point, she can easily create an illusion of herself-being in once place but not. Kinda like a mongoose (think Riki Tiki Tavi). Normally this confuses/infatuates her opponents who are more less watching her move around more so then where she is putting her weapons. Does not work well on high end people, but still, trying to keep a beat on her when she is that close is a hard to do-and if she is all ready that close...WELL... If she is in an area with a lot of light, like if the sun is shining on, oh say...EARTH; she can shift her plating that the reflection makes her look invisible (at most, they'd see that heat wavey mirage thing on the road like on a really hot day); but this usually only works on targets who aren't used to her kind in general. Other Transformers can see her when she does it, but if she reflects enough of the light at once it can be quite blinding. But only for a short time. She doesn't like using blasters or cannons of any kind if she can help it. She has katar like weapons that transform out of her wrists that generate a very powerful EMP-she can also focus that energy to create "shields" to protect herself when she is up close and personal with an enemy or being shot at from "alien" beings. Like the Military! Hur.

As of yet, I haven't decided if i'm going to give her the form G1 version of her had, which was a F-117...or just give her a Cybertronian alt mode. After I designed her...I mean, I can see how she could maybe change into one, but it would involve a lot of mass shifting. BUT we are talking about the movie-formers...SOOOOOoooo...they are all about that sorta stuff. Lol...

Now i'm going to be a total nerd and try and make one of those descriptions like you'd find on the back of the box if she had an action figure. Durp.

Swift and lethal, the Decepticon known as Ravenwing would follow her leader to the ends of space, the universe and beyond. But at the same time, her processors would be rallying against her own tribulations...a Decepticon with a concience. A weakness that she cannot seem to overcome. But as long as her comrades and especially Megatron do not catch on and continue to focus only on her "abilities"...she feels she can still do her share for the Decepticon cause despite her personal drawbacks. On Earth, she finds the planet quite beautiful-the wild life and landscapes something quite curious. Humanity on the other hand, she slowly realizes...reminds her of her fellow Decepticons, but in a sense, far worse. Leaving her to wonder, "Why would the Autobots side themselves with such savages to begin with?"

"For the Decepticon cause. It is what must be done..."
