I guess technically i'll stick this in Transformers since it's based on an actual one, despite being...a dinosaur.Just the transitional phases on this.
In this case, Overkill - one of Soundwave's minions.
Still working around this weird twitch that's been driving me a bit batty lately, but...yeah, a test.
I haven't done anything "old school" in a long time, and it shows. And when I say old school, I mean personally for me, since i've done things digitally for so long, lol. But yeah, sketch, inks, and colors...how backwards.
The coloring makes me cringe, but again, was just testing with the damn thing.

WOW thats so awesome!! i really love the design and his colors, he looks really badass. so hes an actual Transformer? he doesn't seem very robotic. did you decide to just draw this as an organic version? anyway this is just simple awesome. do we need to go over why T-rexes are so awesome again lol? anyway phenomenal job

Well, he's based on an actual Transformer. I mean, this is just a fleshy version of the robot cassette that Soundwave has, lol. I was just messing around, i'll end up doing some version based on my weird head ideas at some point. lol Monsterize them...or something. lol

I've doodled it before, but I draw him a lot more feral looking then the little cassette tape thing. @_@; May have to attempt and do it again.

AWESOME! Overkill's one of those lesser known, less appreciated transformers who deserved more screen time, loved his dinosaur form and he looks even more kickass with an organic dino mode...Is this him as a Predacon?

hehe very much so. As I have been reading up on TFwiki and Transformers Wiki I find out more about these other obscure characters and it's like JOY. Lol...crazy times.
And haha, well, I was just playing with it, but he does look rather neat like this but whenever I get around to redesigning that dinosaur mode robo thing I had a while back hopefully i'll do him better justice...even though he doesn't look like a cassette thing at all lol.
