Oh look, it's Springer and Hot Rod. Wowsers.Ok that was stupid, but anyway...
I guess Springer is upset about something. Probably Hot Rod, he is making faces at an Arcee who is off screen.
I actually doodled these so I had an idea how I wanted to draw their faces for some future image with all three of them, so, hopefully if i'm not being a craptacular femmebeast i'll actually draw it. Too bad now I gotta doodle Arcee, who should have been in here but I was lazy, so, she'll get her own little head doodle...unless I end up throwing up some other random femmebots because I love them so.
EVERY SO MUCH.
Also, Hot Rod's helm drove me fscking crazy because so many different looks. So this is just my general look for him, because it just is. Probably would look more like him in color though...bleh.
Springer wasn't too bad, but, guh, that helm. LYNXIA! WHY ARE THE HELMETS SO HARARRDDDD...d...

TFC was an old name I called for my Transformers like, fanon. Was Transformers Cross. Since back then I used to splice the styles to get the style that I drew with basically.

i dunno why, but it took me a good 30 seconds to catch the pupilled (pupiled? sp? whatever) optics. i kept thinking "what in the world is making them look so different". lol i like it though. the style on these rocks. looks like you did just fine on hot rod's helmet.

Thank you very much on that! And yes, haha, the pupils seems to throw some off. I guess that is because for a long time they didn't have any in most media, but for me, I just like the extra "expression" and emotion you can get, just by the pupils dilating or what not.
And oh boy, Hot Rod's helmet...though for a bit Springer's was nuts for me to design too. I had to run through so much reference on the both of them, lol. I need to do some more full body shots soon enough.

Thank you! I try to make them look different, sometimes I worry they are too out there, but, ah well. I blame all the old animation I watched while growing up, hehe.

I REALLY like the designs on these two--it's pretty new for me to see transformers with pupiled optics but I LIKE. The helmits look great too!

Haha, and yes he is. I wanted him to be all happy and "Can do anything" attitude. That or annoying Springer by way of talking to Arcee. I guess that will be prevalent though if I ever get the stuff down between the lot of them, hehe.
And yes, I love how TFA brought in the pupils, and at first I was very weird about doing it, but it sits well with how I draw them, mostly because It also adds a lot of expression to them besides the general facial emotions as well. Gotta love pupils for that, though in sketch form, they are very dark, I do like changing the look when they are put in color form.

I agree so much with that. I think my favorite media with the use of pupils was Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet...well, a lot of Disney characters and things use that, but she was one of the best I can think of. Expressions = HEARTSPARKBABARK.
