Oh woe is me, pencils!Quick sketch from last night at random while coloring I think-mostly also inspired from watching that damn video with Steve Blum doing the little example voice and brain going *ka-POP*. This was the second attempt at him, actually. The other one is...ugh. Not like I can go off too much anyway besides the small images. Cybertron based, as I can only assume from the pages.
I have yet to get Megatron down, I have a feeling i'm going to try and sketch some Deadlock face momentarily only because I got the comic earlier today.
BUT anyway, yeah. TF Prime Starscream. I think I gave him more neck then he's probably got, but that's probably just my own TF Aesthetics kicking in and I do so much like giving them necks. askfajldksg

*Scambers in as promised over at Vertigo* Alright, so this is how I actually found you, all hail Google Images and all that... Anyway I love on this so hard... Starscream is easily my favorite Transformer and though I had to adjust a little to the new look, I do like where they've taken him. Will this ever be cleaned up and colored or will I have to settle contently for this one? I would totally commission you too, but... As the case often is, a starving artist must eat and giving their money to other artists doesn't help... o.o;

I want to draw him again, actually. There is a sketch of him and Soundwave I messed around with, and the thumbnail sketch I drew of him I really want to follow up with. For the moment, i'm waiting to get some proper tools to go forth with it which may happen this holiday season depending on my dad, lol. I guess me trying to be more serious will lead into this somehow. I really do love how he looks in the new series- and well a lot of the new designs I really enjoy but he and Megatron take the cake so far. lol
And ahhhh commissions. I did a few for the first time month or so ago... I may do so again, but, i'm still one of those people who looks down on their work too much to actually see the worth. I'm working on that though, lol. But yes, if you mean by your comment to commission an image of him, I can say that he will be eventually drawn again so saves ze monies! I just have to get out of this nasty brain rut i'm in now...then doodles will happen again, full force!

My Mother was kind enough to record Transformers: Prime for me and now I have it and watched it all the way through today a-and GNEEEE!!

Sorry... Moving on, Starscream is made of awesome and everyone else was so in character it was fantastic! Um... Still miffed about Bumblebee talking in all beeps and whines though...
As for commissioning ya, it would depend on how much you charge actually. See, I do look forward to seeing what fantastic things you do on your own, but commissioning you would mean I get to be selfish and demand something specific! Is there a place I can see a price list? I really am interested, depending on how much of my precious Decepticon wallet you would be ripping free from me. I would also offer an art trade, but... As you're the better artist between the two of us, I would feel like you were being horribly shafted in the deal... I mean, I've gotten better than what my DA here shows, but still... ;-;

And lol, it just depends, my pricing that I had is kinda off and on, I have only done commissions once, and it was 5 different ones and that was just a test, lol. I do not have it in me to charge for full blown rendered coloring though...as long as that takes, those would be pricey just for the time and effort put in.
And as for trades, I do like those. A lot. Just right now i'm still holding off on doing any just until I get decent reference down of my characters, most importantly Ravenwing who would be the main one to be doodled if any.

When I heard about the new cartoon I went EEEEEEEEEE!!! And I have been jumping at every update for the movie. And it is not just for mhy satafaction, My brothers are just as in love with the Transformers as I am. They were so exicited when I told them about the cartoon!

My brothers are six and five, It is amazing that they are Transformers fans like I am (but not as obsessive though..) usually kids their age watch Spongebob or something, but they're watching the G1 cartoon on DVD, and sometimes bits of animated that I show them on the computer. I'm so proud.
