I haven't watched it but judging from the screen shot its a box modeling tutorial which is great for the blades since you can make the hilts pretty easy with extrusions. I'll check it out and try it...even though I already know how to do box modeled blades yours may have some different techniques than what I usually use.

I checked it out, not to bad but I thought it was a box model guess I was wrong. Planes are decent for beginners with the time of the video you should have slowed down a little so people would know what your doing.
