Spotted this rather unusual vehicle behind the body shop that effed up Frankenstang after it's unfortunate accident. It's a Czech OT-810 APC, a postwar vehicle based on the infamous German SdKfz 251 Halftrack from WWII. This example has been very heavily modified to make it look like an Ausf D "Dora", the last major redesign of the vehicle before the war's end. Roselle IL 2-6-12Related content

It has a pair of outward opening doors in the back, and the roof is open (i think it was on this vehicle), so you can kinda scramble up the sides and fall in

I think a can opener works better because a big guy like me ain't squeezing in no small hole in the roof.. Anyway it looks to be a very tight fit!

It's not small inside, but it's a lot roomier than any car! And it sure beats a tank. When my friends and i were getting ready to join the army, i wanted to join the armoured unit and drive the Abrams. But being a big dude, there was no way i woulda been able to squeeze and contort myself into one! I've been inside an old M113, a more modern armoured personnel carrier with a similar concept to the 251 & OT-810. Those things are low, but wide open inside and pretty easy to maneuver around in. Big hatch in back, another large one on top, and larger crew hatches. And this halftrack makes the m113 look cramped!

Yeah those big long armored trucks they have look really roomy. I don't know.. I don't like tight spaces at all. I don't fit in most car driver areas not because I'm fat but because the fact I'm a big guy.
They'd probably strap the dang thing on pulleys to my shoulders and have me be the tow truck
