Description
I finally buckled down and finished the block print of this concept. This is only a proof. It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do with what I had. I wasn't to pleased with the ink I used. It was water-based Speedball ink. I had to lay it on thick to keep it from being too transparent and that caused some problems. I ordered some oil-based ink and am going to try again next week when that comes in.
I do plan on making a small run of these and making them available to buy once I get them looking how I want. I'll post a journal as well as submit an updated proof when I'm ready to do that.

Nice! I've always loved cutting and printing on block prints. The former is a really fun process, and the latter makes a really cool print! Awesome work!

Almost thought this was a gesso board at first glance. It could have been a scratched Scratch!
Instead I'll have to make some kind of remark about the irony of cutting Vinyl into Linoleum.

Oh my gosh, yes! My 2 favorite things combined!!!!!! ^____^
Very nice work, and EXCELLENT job making a clean print! I'm terrible at block printing. I'm much better at drypoint. ^_^

Thanks! It's still not as clean as I'd like it to be. Can't wait see how the new ink does when it comes in next week.
