Personality---------------------+Kind +Curious +Observant +Elegant
~Soft spoken ~Mysterious
-Impulsive -sliiiight kleptomaniac -Escapist -Emotionless at times
Jojo has a kind and curious nature, never intentionally trying to wrong or hurt someone, though she might cause some misunderstandings. For someone that lacks her own, Jojo is very observant of others emotions and actions. Emotions can be very contagious to her, whether it be happy or sad emotions, and watching someones actions help her better (or worsen) her own. She does most things in a poised, elegant manner, mostly do to Maria wanting her to act as a doll looks. Her wings and sense of balance works into this as well, as she walks and lands with grace most of the time. Jojo talks very little, especially to people that she barely knows. Her soft spoken tendencies are mostly come from a habit when she was learning how to speak. Jojo doesn't talk about herself or her past, what she's doing or future plans unless asked about them, and remains fairly mysterious to those around her. Sometimes you'll find her doing strange things, like staring at random objects or walking around late at night. Jojo tends to...do things on a whim, and sometimes with very little thought, being especially impulsive when it comes to glistening objects. Besides her preference for shiny things, Jojo tends to "collect" a lot of useless objects, usually for their colors or sizes, whether they were on the ground or in someones house. She strongly dislikes confrontations and strong emotions, always opting to slink away and escape rather then talk it out. She also comes off as emotionless in some situations, not knowing how to react and or how to give sympathy a lot of time.
+Likes-----------------------+Sweet rich foods- She refuses to eat veggies of any kind.
+Shiny things- Watch your wallets.
+Breads and bagels- Jojo stans Mr. Pepin's Bakery.
+Talking to crows and other birds - Although she can talk with birds other then crows, its harder for her to understand them!
+Music - She enjoys any melody, fast or slow~
+Dancing - With or without others, she enjoys the movement of many different dance styles.
+Still, tall objects - you will often find her sitting on street lamps, roofs, trees and the like!
+Snowy days - Jojo loves playing in the snow.
+Foggy mornings - It gives her sharp eyes a good rest from the early morning light.
-Dislikes------------------------Cats - they have a tendency to chase her...
-Being chased - see above.
-Hurting people - Pain is a weird concept to her, physical or emotional, and she doesn't like the facial expressions that come with it.
-Her wings getting tugged - They might pop off...
-Long words she can't understand - supercalifragilisticexpialidocious yep.
-Small, cramped spaces - from a bad experience during her 3 year travels.
-Hot days - Although she can't feel heat the same way a real person does, it still messes with her joints.
-Cloudy nights: Seeing the stars and moon each night gives her energy for some reason...
Story----------------------------------------------------------------Once upon a time... (Prologue)
...An elderly man was stopped by a traveling merchant. The man, a seasoned marionettist, was well know in the town for shows and dolls. exhausted from his work he slowly made his way home as the sun set. But as he walked, a voice called out to him from the dark. it was a merchant, cloaked in dark and heavy fabric. The merchant began telling the man that he had seen his puppetry, and how lifelike it was. The man was flattered and thanked the merchant, but it was apparent that he wanted to get some rest. Before the marionettist exited the conversation, the merchant stopped him. Pulling out a small leather bag, the man handed it to the marionettist with an almost mischievous smile. 'Create dolls with these stones, give them another chance. It will make for an interesting play.' He smiled, before returning back into the shadows.
Waking up...
Josephine woke in an old, charred cabin, laying on a work bench. She was dressed in what was once an extravagant costume, now faded and moth eaten. She had no idea where she was, who she was... what she was. The only thing she had was her new ability to think and memories that seemed just out of reach. Josephine's first lesson was how to move and walk, using her wings and tail as balance as she stumbled her way off the bench and across the floor. She found pieces of dolls like her, but most were broken and burnt. Looking down as she walked, she saw herself for the first time in a shattered piece of glass . She also found something dangling off her wrist. Holding it up, Josephine couldn't decipher its meaning, it was covered in words she couldn't read. Her first instinct she had was to leave-- but abandoning the random dolls left in the house left her feeling... uneasy. Looking around the house, Josephine was lucky to find a toy wooden wagon left intact. Slowly, Josephine piled all the dolls she could in there, but had to leave one that was very similar to herself. He was just too large, and as much as she wanted to, Josephine couldn't physically lift him. With hesitation she left him there, but hoped promised herself to come back for him. So off she went, stopping once she was outside to wave at the left over structure, turning back and starting her trek to... somewhere.
She traveled for many miles over many years, learning basic speech from children in villages that she would stay in. She later learned that the tag on her wrist read Josephine with the Citrine eyes! along with a wax seal of the person that made her. Josephine kept traveling until she reached a small town that called Noelle, and met a young lady named Maria that was more then willing to help her. Little did she know that the town was run by a gang, and that she would be joining them soon... The Giggle Gang!
Leaving Noelle...
It was a heard decision to make, but after many months of looking for the gigglers that she had called friends, she decided it was time for her to take to the roads herself. Maria tried every excuse not to let her go, but in the end Josephine knew that it was time for her to complete her own journey. She had promised to find her other half long ago, and she felt that finally it was time. Leaving on a snowy dawn, Josephine had just enough fillies to pay to accompany a small travailing group in their wagon. With all her dolls packed away, she gave her loving Maria and her little brother her last farewells, and promised that she would return once her journey was complete.
Three years later...
Josephine walked along the dirt road in the spring, the path becoming more and more familiar the closer she got to the town she called home. It had been a long journey, and many things about her changed, but her heart remained the same as it fluttered with nerves upon her return. With a cape to cover her wings and a new and proper mask, Josephine walked unnoticed through the town. It had grown much larger in her absence, and it filled her with happiness to hear the joy return to the air. The first thing that she did was visit an old friend, Maria. She and her brother had also changed, but treated Jojo with the same childlike kindness as before. Her next line of business would see if the old tent on the hill still stood. Word on the street was that the Gigglers were back in town.
