Description Since I rediscovered my love of pencils in the past few months, I've challenged myself to create 365 sketch cards in 2014. That's one for every single day of the year!


The first episode of Series 3 of Sherlock airs in the UK on 01/01/14 so it seemed fitting to make him the subject of the first card.

Thanks! I'm currently using a set of Derwent sketching pencils and a Caran d'Ache Pablo white pencil.

Gee, ... My eyes    aren't getting any sharper with age ... I can't imagine drawing so so small for so so many sketches...


must be a labor of love - besides a challenge to complete!!

I actually really enjoy working at small scale! It's a challenge and it helps me to avoid getting bored. But, as you can see, the reduced size doesn't stop me squeezing on the details! This one is finished and took about 3 hours total. Need to speed up but just enjoying drawing again.
