Portfolio fodder- subject was a request by my friend =NimbleBun of a bat eating a squishy. Fur takes such effort! It was fun drawing something outside of my comfort zone. X) Bats are such odd creatures!A not-so-quick-paint in photoshop. about a bajillion layers.
Now back to those commissions!

Aha. Bats are my favourite ever. I think I literally just squeed. You did an excellent job with the fur and other details and the lighting is excellent. Also, I love the complete lack of detail in the background to contrast with the central image.

Aww, the little naturalistic details are great... the light on the fur, beads of water on the slushie, the leathery wings... all made so much more fun by the fact that it's a bat slurping a slushie upsidedown. Scoooore.
