Description
Warning: 6 MB PDF download. After quite a bit of experimenting, I've decided to launch a series of Modular Dungeon Cut-Up sections. These are hand drawn sections of maps for use with miniature figures in tabletop pen and paper fantasy role playing games (such as Dungeons and Dragons).
This PDF is a sample pack which I'm also providing free on Lulu.com (and hopefully on DriveThruRPG soon).
Feedback from members here, emails and people on The Lost and the Damned have pointed out how "vintage"/1980's my designs looked, so I've turned this into a feature.
More packs to follow, hopefully!
Construction:
The original graphics are hand drawn on paper, scanned and coloured in in Paint Shop Pro and GIMP.
The title font is "Worn Manuscript Rough " from Dafont (by Phillip G. Andrade of drybohnz ).
Many of my recent designs have been developed for a forthcoming map editor program, to be brought out by Rusty Axe Games . Check their site for updates.
(I will be spending my free time next week sleeping ... zzzz)

Virtual Table Top. This are programms that replace battlemats by online shareable or projectable virtual maps. Graphic tiles (as png) with transparent backgrounds work great for that. For more about VTTs you could look here [link]

Thanks for the pointer. I'm working on some tiles for the Dungeon Demon editor by Rusty Axe Games which should be ready soon. The maps will be exportable - perhaps they can be adapted.

I'm deffinetly going to show my uncle this. He has developed a sort-of rpg which uses this kind of a grid

Thanks dude. I worship the Law of the Grid.
Nothing deviates from the 1 inch squares ...
Apart from 45 degree angles: [link]
Traditional diagonal corridors: [link]
What sort of genre RPG has he gone for?

Generic Fantasy, but it could just as easily be used for a sci-fi setting or something else
It's a nice blend of combat and various puzzles and riddles
