Thanks a lot for the critique ! It's really helpful ! Actually, I've made a little spot of "light" on the nose, but I don't know why, it doesn't appeared on the picture. I also like to let the viewer using imagination and for this portrait, I didn't want to add all the details I usually put in the face. I wanted to play with light and atmosphere. Bring a little mystery in it. Thanks again and feel free to explore my gallery !

I was actually remembered our conversation and when I posted this compo, I thunk, did Gunneos remembered ?? And yes, you remembered ! I was quite suprised by your message and really happy you did ! We do deserve a glass of champagne for that !   I've been raised with Sherlock's state of mind concerning how I think and observe, my memory is trained by the best !

I'm so flattered you actually recalled the comment while you were uploading, wow And haha yes, I was keeping a lookout for your drawing! I love lighting like that, I wish I had the imagination to come up with such things and compositions, but I can't without a reference, unfortunately. Anyway it's really nice to see this from another angle like you said. Trained by the best we are. XD

Actually, I have a picture as reference for this portrait. I've just enhanced the contrasts. My compo without reference doesn't have the same aspect at all. I prefere to work with a reference, it's comforting and I don't have the skills to work properly without. Have a nice day !
