can i remove the standard icon at left of "screen resolution" "gadgets", etc.
it would be nice if my context menu had only text...

Microsoft has protected those context menu items so they can't be edited.

Friends a new feature, to open a folder just put explorer.exe "C:\whatever folder\whatever subfolder" in the Path text box.
Example: explorer.exe "D:\My Songs\"

XP does not support modifying the context menu like Vista and 7. You have to manually use Resource Hacker (or similar tool) to modify a DLL file.
