That's a lotta Gas Giants Ever since I heard about Gas Giant planets orbiting close to nearby stars, I have long wondered what it would be like to live in a system where there ae actually Gas Giants CLOSER to the sun than the first Earth-like world

Yeah, well I used StarGen [link] to generate the data for this system. The reason there are that many gas giants is because the system is a binary star. I once read that binary stars that are really close together act like one big star. So I added the mass of both stars and it gave me a total solar mas of around 1.43. Using that mass StarGen created this system in which there are gas giants closer to the stars than the Earth-like planet.

Wow, that's a nifty site very complex at first glance. But an interesting way to come up with your own plausible Solar Systems

I'm glad you find it usefull. ^W^ I use StarGen to create the mayority of my solar systems for Celestia. It's a real help for science fiction stories too.
