By the way, the next episode of the fanfiction surrounding this AU will most likely be finished soon. Posting this beforehand was pretty much a given; not just for promoting/hyping-up said entry, but also just for my own sake to update the designs a little and give them a proper reference sheet for me and my EEnEtwt friends to work with.

Rétro Future is an Ed Edd n' Eddy AU inspired by and classifying as several retrofuturistic aesthetics, primarily Y2K and Frutiger Aero.

The most important difference is that there is a Cyberspace dimension that the Cul-De-Sac residents can access, through device screens activated by special cartridges called Cyberspace Drive Keys("CyDis").

The Eds in this AU, as shown here, have special Cyberspace outfits, which are more practical within that dimension's fundamentals. Namely, the place has a much colder climate than the Cul-De-Sac does in the summer.

RF!Edd:
[Edd] Transformed into a slugtaur one day for unknown reasons.

Such a form has given xem the ability to breathe underwater. Xys slug-half is incredibly soft and cuddly, too.

Though, because of xys massive size, limited mobility, and lack of accommodation, he relies on Eddy's caretaking frequently; especially on Cyberspace expeditions.
