Finally made a ref for my fursona
When you're going to make reference sheets for your characters, you need a good idea for them

I really like them, but on the other hand I suck at imagining "everyday life" in futuristic settings. It has nothing to do here, but it's a seriously important thing for a story I'm creating with my friend XD

It's actually based on a video game, but little is told about this stuff in the game itself, so I can make it almost whatever I want <:
So must of the things is like we have, just like you sad, a bit more sci-fi here or there. Come on, there are so many awesome things i nthis would it would be a shame if they didn't have them!

Oh, have you watched Summer Wars? It's like set in modern day, but they have virtual reality, and it's not the usual dystopian trope. So they have artificial intelligence for games and stuff! There is a book based on virtual reality games called Ready Player One, maybe you can get some inspiration from those? o:

I don't need too much inspiration for other sources, though. I get enough material from the whole game series and add more everyday stuff to it to make the story more alive and relatable on emotional level. Yes, the story of main charries gets pretty god damn deep in some moments

I was planning to do turn the whole thing into a comic, but these are just some future plans and first we should put everything in order. Storytelling is hard, you know. But we have plenty of cool things already done :3

Well, I kinda can create good backstories and stories in general, but it's hard when you do everything on your own. With my friend we help each other in developing these two characters through roleplays or just sharing ideas c:

Yep, it is. But... we argue a lot. Especially about her character's past (fortunately she'd finally cleared this out and we know exactly what happened) and attitude towards mine XD

DnD is a different kind of roleplay, still it's something! I meant written roleplays where you are your character and it's more like telling a story but with another person or even a whole group

Well, the way my babe DM's DnD, they really urge the players to be their characters, and honestly, in our one on one sessions I frick up by breaking the fourth wall, or asking too many questions xD
