Description Champleve enamelled water lily pendant with an embedded stone setting and flat chasing. About 1 X 2 inches. Not the most expert thing out there, but not bad for a first try. Thompson enamels pink is an evil pink. It has fistacuffs with silver.

Nice. Watch out for Thompson's opaque purples with silver too- they get this nasty yellow tint.

ugh. Lead free is nicer health-wise, but it can be such a bear.

Beautiful! I love the texture you got into the colors. I'm curious, how did you do that? I did a very small enamel pieces, but didn't dare attempt putting weird texture.

Beautiful peice!

Thank you! As for texture, I used transparent enamels and flat-chased the back sheet of the champleve before fusing. (I'm not sure if you've done champleve, but it's basically made up of 2 shets of metal- the top one, which the lily and pads are pierced out of, and a back one, to support the enamelled areas. I love it, because it's a super-easy technique.)
