Screwing around with aluminum casting and such. It's not really pleaseant stuff to breathe in.

As for the stake & hammer sets, that's the college's hammer cabinet; Most of that stuff is older than I am.

oh lol, thats like my Uni, they have a massive set like that on the wall of the smithing room.

aaaah i see, yea aluminium casting... i don't think i EVER want to try that still haven't tried silver casting, i made a cuttlefish mould all preper for this year adn then ended up having to defer my course for the year D: it's still sitting around waiting

be prepared; cuttlefish casting smells like a turd wrapped in burning hair. Gives a nice texture, though.

And aluminum casting isn't that bad. A girl that graduated last year (I believe her name is Chelsea Birch) did HUUGE research into it. I think she may be looking into getting her paper published in Metalsmith soonish; eep and eye out if interested.
