Description So this was my first dabble into pastels. I couldn't find a good pink but I did my best. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated!

Oil pastels are a lovely introduction to color- I'm glad to see that you tried them.  They blur the line between drawing and painting, which makes them really amazing.

You've handled them quite well considering this is your first time using them.  With things like this, it's a good idea to make small markings for where you want each of the facial features to go so that you can change things if you so choose.  Additionally, it may be helpful to draw in the direction of the planes of the face.  You do this in the nose and the hair, but if the lines on the cheeks followed the contour of the face, it is easier to create the illusion of depth.  I can't wait to see more of your work and see how you progress!
