using different colours makes it more appealing and stuff (well to me probs bc i love rly colourful shit)
black and white are just dull to use imoΒ
which is why i rarely use it (besides very subtle effects and lineart but even then id change it to a different fitting colour)

id reccommend purples,magentas and maybe some pinks too idk it depends on the shade
also red's look better if they have a small hint of pink in it like its barely noticeable but not as blood-likeΒ
