Funny thing about Port, everyone else considers black roosters extremely unlucky, but he's the only one (that I know) that considers them lucky. Just about every portuguese home has a statue of one to bring good luck XDThe reason he likes them (besides his love for everything gallinaceous) is because a dead rooster saved a man from being hanged [link]

I really start to love portugal X3 I should go on a little research crusade when I'm visiting our library this afternoon. (*just realised I don't know enough about port*)
Good thing its a black rooster and not a black swan. this would have freaked Ivan out! XD Because black swans are connected to witches and there is even a fairy tale where a witch uses black swans to steal children away.
On another note, I bet he will have found a nice place for this black rooster between his other wood-art. he has a fable for handpainted details and flowers on things. [link]

"Candyman" and "Bloody Mary" are stupid urban legends.
