Description
The Zeus, the Pride of the Armed Forced of the Lyran Commonwealth. A mobile Assault Mech that was just coming online when the Succession Wars began.Based heavily on Duane Loose's original 3025 design, mildly re-proportioned.

...Glad the design was finally refitted with a PPC rather than being saddled with the AC/5--this one modification allowed it to challenge anything in the field! When LosTech was recovered, I usually kept the original Medium Lasers rather than going with the 2 Medium Pulse Lasers (usually added a pair of Flamers with the extra 2 tons--who doesn't love the smell of cooked enemy infantry in the morning? 
Knowing Zeus, I bet it pleased the Archon mightily.

yeah...never been a fan of the Blazer stat wise... but for sheer concept, and lore, it's fun! I hate the weird art for that version though.

You know after digging through some of the more obscure tech I found the old clan Improved large laser. It weighed 4 tons to the old 5, but if you made a blazer out of that which weighed 7 tons and took up only 2 crit slots.
I am surprised the clans would never build it? Then again it is technologically a step backwards.
