~Aboshi and I were talking liches the other day, and this totally popped out. I originally was just going to draw the Lich himself, but he looked so lonely and there was so much room that I decided to give him a pretty, human bride; I'm sure he gets a new one ever 20-40 years or so, just for kicks >:}I love colored pencils XD Now I'll have to buy a new set just to get a black one, though! *stomps*

I'm with crazytwinlex, I like the little "marital bond" on her wrist. She just has to follow him around, conveniently, the poor girl, whether she wants to or not. Really fun, and I like the costumes and the look on her face!

Just from the background alone, I can see what you mean about needing a new black pencil. XD And though you already got my comment in MSN, I reckon this is definitely one of your better works to date because everything comes together nicely. The background being a main part of that because it holds a good perspective with the characters. ^_^
