Description
Jango remembers his travels as he scoops more berries into his bowl to grind. The sweet smells of the juniper tickles his nose and memories of the snowy, mountainous regions he traveled across on his way here flicker behind his eyelids. The berries had been a nice find and would help serve to create a deep red purple which he knew would look so vibrant against the rock wall.

Jango had been stuck behind this rock for several days because of the desert storms. Between sunbathing in his makeshift hammock above his tent (something he did often as the heat relaxed him) and collecting new cactus he had never seen before, he grew restless. He knew he couldn't trek through the storms till they died down somewhat. It didn't make the waiting any easier though.

The Bagbean had found shelter against this large slate. The plain stone was so uninteresting to look at now. He had decided that a change of scenery would be nice. So mixing his berries and oils from his gecko sack he worked and worked until he had the color paints he wanted.

He used his fingers to smear a vivid image of the oceans he was traveling towards. Jango could almost taste the salty air and see the glittering waters in front of him. He had found a treasure map and was following it across the land. An old merchant had given it to him as a gift for helping catch a nasty thief. He didn't really care about finding any treasure, he was happy to finally have a destination. Jango was a wanderer at heart. The thought of discovering a new place with all new people with exciting culture brought a smile to his face.

I have never done such a large piece like this. I'm really proud of how it came out. I really tried to push the lighting and color as much as possible! It was extremely fun coming up with Jango's backstory and his little personality quirks.
