Description
When Peridot went to the human world on his identity trails, he was convinced he would become a wonderful peridot. Little did he know sleeping through most of his trail earned him the title of Sleepy!Peridot means to renew. So he kept his name...even if he didn't end up the type of bagbean he aimed to be.Β
He is much happier, inventing things he sees in his dreams. When he has a really hard problem he can't solve, he naps on it. Thankfully the community keeps their eye on him to keep from trouble.Β
He uses the pillow on his bag, as an actual pillow for naps <3

Edit: Updated! Had time to add more to the background!
Edit2: Decided to try about creating another darker layer of shadow to make things pop more. I also cleaned up the piece more
Really went out of my comfort with this shading technique. Tried to go with a cellshaded look. My goal was to have color really pumped into it, so the characters looked connected to the background.
