Reading out of curiosity. Your art is very good, and very manga-esque! I especially love the perspective and shadows on the right-hand panel.
But... what? Al is just randomly wandering around trying to find Mei? That seems so unorganized and very unlike him. xD I feel like Al would've studied up more on the language and purchased many a book and map on Xing before actually heading out, you know? Or was he simply too eager to see a certain bean-sized princess, ohohohoho.
(Although judging on the nature of your fanart, I'm guessing a new love interest will be introduced instead, huh? xD;; )

Ah well, he forgot to ask exactly where they're supposed to meet. Little detail, Ed's the one who completely misses the fact not everybody in the world speaks his language. And he does carry a dictionary, but he fails big time trying, you'll see later on.
