If I had the money to critique, I would. But I don't, so I can't.

But overall, this really does look professional! (Not like anyone hasn't said that in the coments before, haha. I'm not very original.)

I don't know how long exactly you've been working on art in a japanese comic form (not including your wonderful Harvest Moon and other comic strips), but this is amazing for the first page. I really like the water mixing with the sky in the first panel, and how similar (but not exactly the same) your style is to Miss. Arakawa's.

It doesn't have the harsher, bolder lines like hers, and though I prefer it that way, it separates your original work.

One thing that I' like to see in later pages (This is just the first one, so I haven't really given you a lot of room to work in, haha) would be more background detail. As an artist, I hate backgrounds. I don't like creating them. But as a reader, I enjoy just the thought of the artist detailing trees or inking every line on a skyscaper.

Another on just this page: The angle from the train window. It doesn't make sense. Not unless, of course, you meant for it to be two different panels entirely, which was what I thought at first glance. But I took a closer look, and now the perspective is killing me.

Okay, the fangirl moment's over, now to the SRS things...

I think Ed's antenna is too damn small D: It needs to be at least a bit longer, IMHO.
Second, maybe's just me, but I think Ed looks a bit weird in the last panel... I don't know, maybe's the mouth.

But overall, this is nice, and really resembles the manga.
I like how the reading is right to left too, it surely helps thinking it's some kind of sequel/spin-off.
Another good thing, Ed's HAWT in there 8D ( but then again, when he wasn't in your works? )

In short, nice job, like always, just some things that seem a bit off (but maybe it's just me XD)!

I read the Spanish version too and I understood it, and probably even better than the English version. I feel so SPESHUL XD
