you need to boost the contrast and maybe vary the lighting a little , also try and make a more dynamic dOf and maybe get in a little closer with a nice crop followed with a simple yet elegant border to compliment it... i think you could really make this a good image if you highlight the rusty qualities and the dark/light variations but atm its just bland.

hmmm, this picture needs more contrast. I think you need to put up the contrast, then dodge the highlights in the photo to create more depth inside it. i would have also made it a monochrome and given it a tint of some sort as the current colour is quite dull and uninteresting, at least in monochrome you could get a wide range of tones if you have a good enough contrast. Good attempt, keep it up, practice makes perfect

you have a knack at making everyday objecst seem extraordinary. I love the whole composition of the piece. the shadows are subtle and tones are highlited. i love old stuff! wheee!

i like that this isn't a typical subject, but I would've liked to see the image a little crisper and i would suggest playing with the saturation a little to make it 'pop' more. To me, the whole idea is to show something nobody every considers to be beautiful in a beautiful and different 'light'. you know?
