I never said violence is a way to prove you're right. This illustrated the battle of ideas and conflict that arose from both of them. I like Devon because he is unapologetic, hilarious, and he makes some good points. I don't agree with everything he says like his views on clinton, guns, & abortion but he doesn't make these issues a big deal in his videos so i tend to ignore it and focus on the rest of the content which is making fun of Cenk and other idiots like him. I don't have a problem when people call each other names and antagonize them. It is amusing to watch. People need to grow a pair and know how to deal with these types of situations. I don't value maturity, respect, and being civil when it comes to the internet. Depends on the situation really. I am interested in information and that's what i care about the most. I care about the bigger picture rather than get myself caught up in feelings, being civil, & grammar... as long as i can understand what you're saying i don't mind. I'm not the one to pick on looks ... and just because he does it doesn't mean i would do the same thing. If people really care about that stuff they really should be looking elsewhere. I'm sure there are others just like Devon.. i find him to be more entertaining then the rest of my subs because his mannerism is attractive to me and makes me laugh. Would you call me a peace of shit for liking his type of stuff? I'm sure he's not like that in real life. I've seen some of his live streams with other guests and he seems more reasonable if they are honest as well. He makes these videos to entertain himself and his audience members so of course he's going to exaggerate. I have no problem with him releasing someone's name out in the open. He hasn't doc dropped someone's address and personal information out as far i know. He's also not a hacker, anybody who is diligent and curious enough can pretty much find anything online. Its pretty easy to trace certain things if those people aren't careful and simply put things out in the open. He does give credit to people if they deserve it (like small channels) even if they don't deserve it he will put the link in the description for his flying monkey's to thumbs down the video. I haven't seen him plagiarize anyone (claiming it as his own). He has mentioned and showed clips of other youtubers. And if he simply broadcasts the news or a conference without his commentary he is simply relaying that information (anybody can find that stuff) Can you tell me where he is lying on important issues? If he is being satirical then he's obviously not being serious about what he says. Again... i don't have a problem with his questionable ethics. He is a youtuber i enjoy regardless of his flaws. How did you encounter the roo? drunken peasants i suppose?

Communicating my thoughts and words as a drawing still means im saying it regardless if using my voice or typing it down. The viewer is supposed to acknowledge i'm putting ideas out there through my work. And like anything else... there's always going to be miscommunication in the way i present it. I find it easier to convey this message if its dynamic and simple. I just don't see me actually trying to literally get those two to get on a computer screen and put the time and effort into creating some realistic scenario. The main thing to get was AIU didn't back down and he convinced TJ and made him publicly apologize. This feels like he is the under dog to me, showing others that it doesn't matter if you have a small channel. The truth eventually shines. Now maybe you find teen-humor distasteful but ... that's really just subjective stuff it doesn't really ammount to anything besides my preferences. I may have mispoke given the context when i said i didn't value maturity, i guess what i meant to say was i try not to get myself too serious. I do value maturity when its needed in the right circumstances but I also like drama. I don't see whats so bad about having a balance.

If you take a look at Devon's podcasts and livestreams with other youtubers then you'll see what i mean. He stays in character when he's producing content for his channel but he takes the persona off when talking one on one.... depends though. If the person he's debating is an idiot and disrespects him he's not going to treat them with the same level of respect and maturity as some of the other people he's chatted with. Even his flying monkey's don't hold the same opinions as him. He's got a diverse range of ideas from different backgrounds. But the important fundamental stuff is what we agree upon, not regressive authoritarian religious dogma.

also... where has he lied on the subject of extremism and terrorism? btw as far as ethics goes... i don't really care as long as he's not restricting someone's rights or harming them. his type of doxxing doesn't hurt anyone. people need to be responsible with their own identity, a name is nothing. you need more information besides a name to do any real damage. And also the important thing is he did not reveal any more information. I don't think he will. Even having a hacker friend as an argument to do physical harm to someone seems ridiculous. Intent is obscured when you don't know the type of person you are dealing with. You can say the same thing with a gun. If i have evidence that i am a gun owner and say i'm going to come and kill you over the internet that shouldn't be something to worry about. There are exceptions to pretty much everything but i don't consider this a big deal especially if you live so far away. Its just not practical to worry about such things. I wouldn't worry a lot if some christian guy said he was going to hurt me based on my beliefs over the internet. I would however worry a little bit more if it was a muslim. and of course not all muslims as i have a coworker who is a muslim ... a rather shitty muslim. but religions aren't equal and shouldn't be treated with the same type of respect. It also helps if they live far away and that makes me less worried about them taking the time and effort to come after someone they don't even know or where i live.

I don't really care about this type of internet ethics or anything as insignificant as that. My real concerns are these two: don't do any harm to someone and don't restrict their freedom. Even those two are up for debate but its something that i think is important and is something that i value. I'm a nihilist if that helps you. I don't believe in god or morals. Its really all just up to people's preferences. You can consider me a flying monkey if you wish. Doesn't actually mean much except to tell everybody i'm a fan and watch his content. I did buy his t-shirt... and i felt like it was about due time to do that since i've been watching his channel for more than a year. I used to do the same with other channels but i need to save up my money to buy me a cool vr head set and a computer that will run it.

I stumbled upon TJ when i was a christian boy back in highschool. I was actually curious about feminism thanks to my ex. And low and behold it led me out of my faith and discovering so many other channels in the process really has made my life more meaningful regardless of being a nihilist... which isn't depressing btw. Its made me really think about what i want to value in life. If it matters i'm libertarian and a transhumanist. Nothing is really set in stone for me and I'm okay talking about pretty much anything if you like. Send me a Direct Message and we can skype or do a google hangout. I'm familiar with Devon's flying monkey's and some of them can be hostile but for the most part i try to be friendly.. would you be interested?

I'm also subscribed to both channels and enjoy a bunch of their video's. However, I do feel that TJ shat the bed on this particular issue by taking the Roo's views out of context constantly. They blame him for 'straw-manning' Jaclyn Glenn, but at the same time they claim that the Roo says that ALL black people are criminals, which is just completely dishonest in my opinion.

Nice art regardless!
