Great photo!!!! I like the sky it's very clean and blue... but why don't you try to take a photo just before storm... with storm clouds
or even with lightnings... it would be awesome...

Hey. I travelled for about 3-3.5 hours one way to get to this place. And about 9 hours to and from to get to "Silence for Lease". Some of my pictures I've spent hours and hours of walking in the mountains to shoot. And I'm progressively going to travel more and more for SOME of my photos in the future.

This is absolutely stunning, the mountains look so sparse and perhaps barren with the exception for the vegetation below, and the white and grey coloration of the rock looks great. But I must say that I do love the clouds. Beautiful focus, and an excellent photograph as usual. I have come to learn to expect no less from you now.

Great name .
Shot is wonderful . This mountain lives more in the sky than on the ground
. Looks like a place from fairytale.

You have done it again! - Its like the quality of a movie poster, clear & crisp. Surreal yet real!
You have brought astounding depth into this image i believe
The mountains & clouds emphasise this, the mountain to the left has an atmospheric colouring & smoothness that really adds to the overall feel of the image,
& we can clearly see the cloud goin in front of the mountains, like low set clouds, this brings some more great depth.
The tree's have otherworldy reflection,
the leaves capture the sense of otherworldly depth,
that is, the reflection of the sun, is a grey light, among with the grey lighting of the mountains,
this adds for an outerwordly experience, a neautrally grey light giving sun, heh, one must wonder how well this sun grows life?
As the mountains are sparse of life
The mountains, yes, they have incredible structure!
They have cracks & passages, & shapes of all randomness!
This once again adds to this outerworldly feel to the image,
perhaps the shapes where carved by strange beings that inhabit the planet?
Perhaps the rocks are a part of living life themselves & grow like formations, like plants?
Perhaps small animals eat away at the rocks, or perhaps there are sudden events that take place on this planet that cause such damage & shapings to the mountains?
I also like the sky, we can see the distribution of light coming from the sun, (or.. lightsource)
& its lighted with smoothness, the light also affects the scene dramatically, & adds a smooth touch to the image.
This smoothness adds to the fantastical surrealness of the image.
Back to the mountains... There structures are like erosion,
now, the clouds are low set upon them,
like a force is pushing them down? or maybe something is attracting them?
Whatever it is, it adds to the sense that these mountains arent normal mountains, but something more, something otherworldly indeed,
perhaps it is a major gravitational point of the planet? a place that attracts all sorts of mischeif?
This adds another thought to the image, maybe life grows only here on the planet, the tree's & vegatation,
because this being a major point of the planet? Afterall, the grey light feel of the sun makes me think it does not feed plants & such with much nutrient goods.
But , its another realm for our minds to delve in, & i must say, good job on this picture!
