Been wanting to do something like this for a while. Took about 4 hours of non-stop work to finish this.Quite satisfied how this came out.
Edit: I may re-do this one soon. Looking back to it, I made a LOT of mistakes I need to fix.

The way vectors like this are made is I actually took a screenshot of a scene, put it in Photoshop, made the vector on top of the screenshot(different layer) so I can get the proportions and color as close to the original as I could. I'm pretty sure all are done this way.
