Description
This is the reason why spider webs are often found in ceiling corners...Photoshop CS 2
The last Illustration I worked on. It was first inspired by a subject for the international illustration contest. I ran out of time and decided to finish it MY WAY, without the 10 grants. whatever, for me, artistic growth is more important than money. It took a long time to figure out the colors. I still feel there is something to work on with the composition, but adding anything in the foreground feels like it will get even more busy than it is now.
Enjoy

Spiders are so handy. You have great direction and a fantastic sense of humour.

Love your style. I have some children's books in mind and am looking for an illustrator. Can't pay up front, indie writer and publisher would be get payment when sell books.

This is such a pretty drawing. And the spider looks like he has an upside down mustache.

Thanks a lot. I didn't plan the mustache to be upside down, but it is even cooler if it IS.
Cheers

the style trend brought by mary blair in the 40s-60s is the main influence. IT is now VERY popular to draw this way, i.e. no outside lines, lots of flat areas and surface textures.

I wish I didn't need a programmer to put it in motion on the website... Being dependent makes me feel vulnerable.
the website is originally a wordpress blog. My brother goes into the HTML code and implement the looks. I draw the elements on paper, scan them, color them in photoshop (Couple tricks make it easy), then I mount the page in After Effects to test then animations and to render out all the elements in png format with alpha for my brother. My brother uses a program which is called texture packer to make sprite sheets for the animations (that saves space 'cause it reduces the total amount of pixels taken for a whole animation = Faster animation reaction to mouseover). He programmed the reverse code to put every image of that condensed sprite sheet back in the righ spot. It may be hard to visualise, sorry.
Basically, it is possible to do about anything, but only with the help of a programmer. Making the website final is then longer. I hope to be able to get comments soon on my work. also, I have a new frontpage and upcoming illustrations for the sake of the website itself. Illustrations of my alter ego... Sorry for the bad font too, I hope to change it soon.
I am happy that you consider it like the futur... I am much inspired by science fiction and a lot by science.
I have put some new life drawing compilations this week!

Mais j'ai une question!! Est-ce un sourire ou une moustache que l'on voit sur la bΓͺte ?
Mais peu importe! C'est magnifique
