Description
Never put down quotes from tv from memory, kids. It don't end pretty. (In other words - sorry I messed up Arthur's line... i was lazy!)OMG Its been so long since I've seen The Sword In The Stone! I just had to try out an ickle Merlin to match kid Arthur from the film! I know Merlin is old in the fim itself - but are you honestly telling me that he can turn them both into fish and squirrels but he couldn't make himself young? Pfft.
Merlin and The Sword in the Stone (c) their respective owners!

I love how the book in the beggining of the movie stresses how good of a king Uther was xD He was such a bad king, even in death, I hated him.

Hahah, I kinda remember that. I just love Anthony Head too much to fully pay attention to what a bastard Uther was in the BBC series.

Riiiigghhht??? I had to do it! I can just imagine how cute they would have been together as kids! If I could do this one over, I think I'd try to draw old!Merlin's owl companion as Gaius, flying next to him!

Haha! At least this version of Arthur doesn't look so dangerous. I remember he was such a skinny twig in the animated movie! I like your Disney-version of Merlin...does he have an owl that yells at him all the time as well?

blackbirdrose In reply to LadyRosefire [2010-11-19 13:06:47 +0000 UTC]
I know! Arthur in this movie was so skinny! And wasn't he constantly rolling up his sleeves and stuff? Cuuuttee!! Haha, I bet he does have an owl yelling at him. He calls it Gaius.

Hahaha. I love this! I always had issues with Merlin being way older than Arthur in Sword in the Stone...since, in the original story, Merlin and Arthur weren't THAT far apart in age....*sigh* Ah well. This is super adorable!

blackbirdrose In reply to PrincessMarilla0913 [2010-10-28 15:53:34 +0000 UTC]
Haha, yeah I agree! I much prefer stories where there's less of an age gap between the two!
Thanks, hun!
