Description I'm going to start of by saying that it will be a while before I draw this guy again, actually it will be a while before I draw anything warhammer related again. Reasons for this is because I feel that I need to expand my knowledge within the drawing world at a faster pace and therefor it's not enough to keep on drawing warhammer things.
I will now instead take time to make more original things.
I know that saddens some of you who are watching me mainly for my warhammer stuff, but I hope that you will still stick around to see me evolve as an artist.

Now, on to this painting. For those of you who don't know, this is my Dark eldar OC "The Fiend", reason that's his name is because no one really knows his real name, but seeing as he is a guy who likes to wreak havoc on anyone around him he have gotten a bunch of different nicknames over the years, but the one that gets called out the most is "The Fiend".
He is the archon of the icon-less kabal that many have started to call "The Kabal of the laughing fiend". The main concept of this kabal is that they are thrill seekers to the extreme, they would even go so far as to attack a random kabal for no reason other than to get the thrill of bringing suffering to others. More backstory is going to be revealed, but for now you won't get more than that and this [link]

As I was working on this painting I learned a whole lot about coloring and lighting and I can honestly say that overall I am pretty happy with the painting. I do think however that the face is dragging it down a bit, so now that's what I'll have to work on.

Thank you for looking at my painting and I hope you stick around to see more. Thank you!

Thank you Tina! I am however really disappointed with the face. But even though that's the case I'm still happy that I made this painting because I learned a lot from it. Now I shall practice more on doing faces!

Yay! Creepy was what I was going for!

If you want to get better at drawing people then you should go and read some "How to draw" books. There are a lot of them that covers the human body and I can honestly say that a lot of them have helped me with my drawings.

The human body is a hard thing to draw, and seeing as we see it so often people have unconsciously learned the shapes of the body and will see errors quite easily if you don't draw them correctly.

Awesomely creepy! I love how the eyes seem to glow, and how the moonlight reflects off of him in just the right eerie way.

Thank you Anya! I'm pretty happy with the lighting in this picture, can't say that I think it turned out just the way I wanted, but I think that I learned a lot during this painting

Well, it pretty much never turns out just the way you want. But as long as it turns out looking good, well, win!

As for the no-Warhammer-stuff-for-a-while thing, fine with me. I like watching people develop as artists and I eagerly await your next piece, whatever you end up drawing.
