Description
I finally got this back after sifting through the classes projects that my teacher was hoarding all semester break.The idea was to take an artist and draw him or a subject in his or her style.
So, voila...Andy Warhol drawn with prismacolor markers using his famous "Marilyn" pop art masterpiece for reference.

Yeah I've seen a character kinda like this. I can't quite remember the name though. The original picture was black and white so I had to improvise and just go for red. I like red coats.

Nice! You blended the prismacolor markers very well. So yall got to use them finally? First semester they demanded we got them, but never really showed us how to use them, or let us develop a technique. Did they show ya how to use them, or is just your pure talent shining through? 
I love the colors you chose and the shading and highlights. Great job!

Nah you know TSTC doesn't teach technique. It's all purely "technical". I had used them on another piece I am going to submit. It takes some finesse to acheive the effects. Mainly I just put some color down and let some white shine through and used the clear blender. It's basically alcohol so it just saturates the color and bleeds it wherever and however much pressure you use. It's kinda hard to describe without actually doing it.
I did this for illustration techniques and the only thing he really showed us as far as technique wise was gouche. At least I learned how to use that crap.
I wasn't trilled with his class anyways. We had 3 part projects every week. Talk about a lot of wasted energy! Ah well....just glad I'm outta that class and onto my next and final semester at good ol' tstc! Miss ya!

I hate math too. Where are you going to school in s.a.? S.A.C.C.? I knew a lot of people that went there back in the day when I graduated. If I had my friend Shannon's number I would give it to you. She was awesome and you two would get along great! Unfortunately I've been through several cell phones since I talked to her and it got lost in the mix.
