Description
This piece was done in my Illustration Techniques class. The idea was to create an industrial illustration with photo references using prismacolor markers. This is probably the first major project that I have done using prismacolor markers. They're not easy to use and getting just the right colors was difficult since I only have a 12 color set.I saw that they have an industrial photography section here on deviantart and so as I was browsing around I found this. I did a photographic reproduction of this subway shot.
One day I think I will get this framed.
Thanks to tzen for the awesome reference!

Looks really nice! you blended the markers very well. i can imagine that clear blender can spread the color around a bit. It seems like it would be really hard to achieve what you did!
Very nice! i love the warm colors!

Oh yeah. The colorless blender bleeds through graphics paper like nobody's business. It's hard because unlike prismapencils you can't erase. I planned this out pretty well considering I hadn't used them for more than a couple rough drafts. Hope to see some of your stuff soon!

Nicely done, a few bits a bit rough but with prismacolours I can imagine it would be a bit hard heh. Good job though

Thanks, and yeah if you go over areas too much it starts to look dark and spotty. I wanted a more painterly lookin piece. I guess if I spent more than 2 hours or so on this it would have looked too overworked. Thanks for your comment I really appreciate it!
