WOW, my mind has been absolutely blown by this work. Β
I think it's really clever how you've arranged the layout; Kefka having his 'claws' on Terra's human cheek representing how he has her 'in his clutches' and is corrupting her, and having her esper form closer to him representing how strong his influence is and having her under his control. That may not've been your intention and I'm probably reading too much into it - as I more often than not tend to do - but I just love the direction you went with this. And the expressions really work, Kefka looking delighted that he has this power over someone and Terra looking rather blank suggesting that she is his puppet and has been robbed of her own free will.
And the style is a marvel. The glowing effects on Esper Terra and the Crystal are beautiful. And the shading and tone is not only brilliant just because it's well done but also adds to the theme and atmosphere, particularly the heavy shadow with the green tint around Terra, which - in my mind as the colour green is often associated with poison and toxic - is a clever representation of the 'Intoxication' part of your very clever title. It's just so Amazing! Β Β Β

This picture is perfect beyond words, both look so threatening, Terra with that blank expression looks even scarier than Kefka, and that's good, really good

The design on the Magicite, really strikes me, as if I am looking at my soul.... chaotic and beatiful.
