It had been a calm and peaceful day on the island that the ancient beast had taken up as an adoptive home. Though it more often rested beneath the waves, absorbing the radiation coming from the earth’s core; the creature did occasionally come up to warm his scales in the sun.

In a moment of serenity the colossal Kaiju had fallen asleep as he enjoyed the feeling of the sun’s warmth. Suddenly though a new sound was heard and it stirred Gojira from his slumber. Looking up, he let out an annoyed growl as he saw some of those birds he had encountered once or twice. These birds weren’t tasty, they were too hard and didn’t taste good, Whatever was on their heads tried to cut at Gojira’s scales. He didn’t like them.

There were these birds occasionally flying over head but this time it was different. This time they were getting closer, encroaching upon his territory. Slowly the gargantuan amphibian rose up and gave a warning roar to these intruders, and then they began to fire their annoyances at him. It didn’t hurt at all but he was tired and wanted to go back to sleep.

But then, one of their pointy things that went boom hit Gojira in the gills. This caused the monster king to become angry. He roared in anger and pain now and began to swat at the thing, but they evaded. Finally, the dorsal plates upon the King’s back began to glow with an awesome blue light, rising up from the top of his tail going all the way up. And then with an opening of the creature’s mouth and a giant breath taken...BOOM!

A spectacularly glowing blue beam shot out from the kaiju’s mouth, turning his head he vaporized the birds annoying him. When finally the birds were gone Gojira gave a bellowing, triumphant roar. and then, quietly returned to the ocean depths.
