Upon a second look, i don't think you needed the black thread linking your last three panels together. The panels themselves are arranged to where a viewer will be able to follow them without a problem and pick up on this characters frustration. Don't be afraid to take off the training wheels for your reader- we can do it!

This is definitely a good point. I don't think I was trying to lead the reader here, I was kind of just experimenting with layouts and styles. I definitely see how it comes off that way though, and looking back at it again myself, I have to say I totally agree with you!
