A scientist who believes that our dreams represent a parallel universe founds Project REM - a way to have waking access to this mysterious world. His greatest success is a disaster when he is kidnapped into the Dream World, leaving his wife and daughter behind. This chapter is unfortunately very short, but it's going to take a while to get through with just one page a week. I really want to go for a twice-a-week update schedule soon but I really need to get through some tough pages in the start of chapter 2 first and then maybe I can build my buffer up a bit more. Anyway thanks for sticking with me even though things are a bit slow now!

But seriously though, so far this has been a really interesting start! We're talking about interdimensional travel via sleep and her husband just 'disappears' (the conspiracy theorist's side of me has reason to believe the government 'got him' - as the case with some 'never found again' scientists's) ,Β and now this. 0-0; which is sort of disturbing and suspenseful in a way!
Also the art style is great, I love how you detail faces.

Glad you think so! This story has been in my head and in my personal files for so long that I've been a little worried how it looks for someone seeing it for the first time. I'm always really glad to get comments about how people are reacting to the pacing, characters, etc... Glad you like my style too!

Well so far, in my opinion, the pacing and characters are done really well!
I especially like how the story is introducing us to the REM sleep experience in settle ways - instead of 'over-explaining'like a dictionary << some comics do that and it's annoying.

Yeah, I cut out sooo much explaining and other unnecessary dialogue and monologuing that was in the first script draft. I had to challenge myself to follow the rule that less is more. I'm still learning but I'm so glad I already got rid off lots of extra stuff that would be annoying.

Haha oh gosh I tried to look up drawings by kids in elementary school to try to make the drawing accurate but I don't know if I got it right. XD
