"I came to a large doorway, lined with precious stones, strange markings engraved above. This was the final resting place of the King. Inside lay treasures beyond value. Gold, Silver, and gems enough to keep even a dragon's greed for wealth satisfied.

As I entered into this room, a great sense of uneasiness and danger engulfed me. I felt as though I was not alone. A cold gust of wind blew into me, flickering the flames of my torch. This wind did not come from outside, however, but from deeper within the tomb. I journeyed to the back of the fallen king's chambers, towards his sarcophagus, and to where the gust of wind originated. I felt a presence near me. A cold air surrounded me and I knew of the danger I was in. I felt this chill deep within me. Into my soul.

I slowly glanced around, knowing that any sudden movement could be my last. I had heard of the myths regarding the crypt. I had heard of the creature which stalks his fallen king's ruins, protecting his remains. I had also heard of the treasure. The great wealth which many had dreamed of before.

As I turned away from the sarcophagus, I was presented with my hellish companion. A great amalgamation of what appeared to be human bone, deformed and mangled to compile this horror. A great tail made of human vertebrae, extending off of the creature's spine and coming to a sharp end poised to strike. The creature was waiting for something. Waiting for me to make the mistake that would bring me to a swift conclusion of my life. I had been fortunate enough to avoid coming into contact with any of the masses of jewels I had encountered.

I slowly crept around the creature, and back towards the entrance of the tomb. There was still a chill in the air as I reached the doorway and as I departed from the cursed tomb. I felt cold. The presence of this horrific creature remaining with me. It was a warning, a curse, and it will remain with me until the day that I shall pass. I can always feel its presence. It watches me...."
