Description
I honestly don't know why I did this, you all don't need my help. Well, I did it. So if you're having trouble drawing dinos or reptilians in general, I made up a little guide.Step 1: Create the drawing's working frame. Here you'll begin the dino's form, shape, and classification. I usually start with a few circles and ovals to place the head, body, hands, feet, the like.
Step 2: Begin adding basic details. For me, this is one of the trickier steps in drawing. Here you'll shape the head, hands, legs, body things like that. The "block head" methiod is my favorite for makeing the head. Just remember, nearly every dinosaur head can be simplified as a box. One thing I like to do is add "ribs" long the trunk of the body, it helps with body plates and details.
Step 3: This is where you add more the elaborate aspects of the dino, body plates, horns, frils, you name it. This is where I see most mistakes made. Artists sometimes get carried away and add unnessisary designs. Don't worry about making them badass or cool, if done right, they'll be just fine.
Step 4: Here you'll clear up any un-needed lines. Don't worry about eraseing any "good lines", you'll re-draw them later anyway.
If you have any questions on how to do what, just ask. Still not done with this tutorial, so don't worry.

If your uncle jack helped you off an elephant, would you help your uncle Jack off an Elephant?

Very nice! Not only do I like the dino, but this will be very helpful to someone, and the steps are fairly easy to follow. So good job on that, as well!

It's a personal choice, just so long as you get the general idea.

Why thank you very much! Yes, my methoids might be overly complicated, but the results are worth it.
