Next up in my series of interpretations of classic Toho monsters, the MUTOs!

Mutos
These dark spirits, calling themselves Mutos, are said to disguise themselves as a weary, pregnant mother and her child in order to trick people into inviting them into their homes. Once their host is asleep, they eat them and lay their eggs in their house. No one really knows what their true form looks like, as anyone who has seen them is already dead, but it's rumored they have many arms for holding down victims, glowing red marks where their eyes should be, and that the little one can fly while the larger one's belly glows with an unnatural light.
