I made two allusions in this chapter-
1. I refer to Chronus' Godhand technique as a "flawless shining force." This is a little nod to Shining Force, a turn-based strategy game for Sega Genesis, in the vein of Fire Emblem. Good game, good game. I had it for PC, though.
2. I refer to Altair's rampage as "the wicked king's march" at one point. This is a nod to "March of the Wicked King", a composition by Daisuke Ishiwatari that sounds a little something like this: [link] 8Ke6wr9HD0&feature=related. (It's coincidentally the the theme song for a scythe user in Guilty Gear. )

Do you need to know my obscure references to get this? Absolutely not. But it might be fun if you know them. I'll never force you to get anything you've never heard of, because I HATE that kind of writing. T.S. Eliot is my least favorite writer I ever had the agony to be assigned to read.
