Yo it's been a while^^ Time for some compliments, critics and solutions.
First after 1.5 years of my absence in DA I can see that you're improving quite a lot in colouring technique. It's quite 3D for me. I like how you colour the skin and the shadows on her hair. good job.
Now for the lineart... I believe you could've done better here. For these years you always relaying on pentool, but I have to say that pentool isn't the best tool out there to make lineart (unless you know perfectly how it really works). my suggestion is that you draw your artline in clean paper and then make a clean artline with pen or maker. This way you'll be able to make more small details. Or if you have some spare money to throw out of your window... it's time for a WACOM tablet don't you think? with around 150 bucks you should get a quite decent one. I bought my WACOM INTUOS3 for 230bucks 2 years ago.. it should be cheaper now.
Well that's my opinion. And if you really into art I think an INTUOS tablet will be a good investment (I sound like a home to home peddler aren't I? hahha)
That's for now I think. Nice work as usual mate

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad the coloring turned out all right.
As for the lineart, I use vectors because it's cleaner and sharper than my traditional inks, and I can make corrections on the fly. I do them in conjunction with my wacom Graphire 4 tablet, though. But, yes, this isn't my most detailed lineart, so you're right there.
Here's a sample of what my work looks like when I ink by hand:

(I use a light table, so I can trace over on a new sheet, with Sakura Microns. That's the procedure I use for all my manga pages, too.)

Your welcome.
I see so you have Graphire 4. Well that's quite neat already. Then how about a corel painter? the scratch board pen brush there is very handy when it comes to linearting. In my opinion though.... Anyway all the brush are quite close to real life traditional tools, that's why I use that most of the time from sketching till colouring. I use PS only for some final touches such as Effects, and making small details that really need precision such as gears, patterns, etc.

Well, I already have Photoshop and Illustrator CS3, so I don't really see the need for any new software for a while.

No no, the real question is, why did the chicken cross the road? One does not know. Possibly a predator was behind the chicken, or possibly there was a female chicken on the other of the road, if it was a male chicken. Possibly a food source, or depending on the season it might be migrating. One hopes there was no traffic.
