I'll be creative and use a comic as an ID.
(Read it from left to right like a regular comic. ) Yes, he's a mecha with a monocle. It will be explained why he has it in the next expisode. As for why he's got that big, stupid, skewed grin, why not?
Yes, there is a pair of Kamina sunglasses on display.
Sad part is, it's rushed and I still think it looks better than any of my old crappy IDs. I think that's just a sign of how long it was since I had a new one, though.

Just wondering: is that word supposed to be "cerulean?" I'm pretty sure that's how the color's spelled, but if it's intentional, no problems there.

Yes, "Cerulean" is the actual word, but it's an intentional misspelling. It makes more sense for a mecha to have a name ending in an "on" sound than an "en" sound.

As for the metal texture, it's really just a pinch of the Noise filter, I just didn't put it on everything, because that gets too obvious. . .

I love the look of Evil Blanke, and Chroma's looking pretty slick herself.
That last panel, though, is awesome on so many different levels. First, you have to love a store named "Shady Deals," especially one that offers a "free fighting robot with every purchase." I lol'd hard at that.
It's a good thing these panels have walls, or else all the wit would come leaking out.
