Description
Kixel are a semi- aquatic species that came from a planet mostly covered in salt water. They were more technologically advanced than the Prectians, having radio technology, but they were still the first to be conquered by the Cerest since their peaceful culture dissuaded the creation and use of weapons for anything except hunting and basic self defense. They are incredibly social and become extremely distressed when away from others, and are communal to the point where breaking off mid- conversation to talk to someone else is not considered rude. Communities operate like large families and have no strong government, the only leaders being those who are better at a certain trade than others. They favor bright colors and artistic, complicated designs. Kixel on the current planet have largely abandoned the Empire for the coast to avoid military conflict and are the main producers of art and music. Very few have defied the stereotype of being " lazy and facetious" and played a role in government, but those who have are strong unionists who want one state for all people regardless of species.
