Crime and drug-trafficking runs rampant in these vast slums, to the point where the Brazilian government and police can no longer control and enforce the law. In order to combat this, the elite 12th Aeromobile Brigade of the Brazilian Army 2nd Division has been deployed to the largest favelas in hopes to bring back law and order to the nation, however bribery and corruption have proven to be troublesome in completing this mission."
